Cold Feet!

do you think most people who love weird facts are people who often get weird, random thoughts? i think so...

at work today i had a random thought..."where did the term 'cold feet' originate from?"

i leave that with you...please, someone spare me from the agony of not knowing! i don't wanna go days without sleep over this! just kidding =) but if someone does have an answer for me, my life will never be the same again =)

Jordanne is right, as for the origions, its hard to tell. I could speculate that the cold feet idea may have came from the prehistoric times when man and woman were being chaced by dinasaurs lol.<br />
Hows that for an answere lol

cold feet is a term used to characterize a pending feeling of doubt strong enough to prevent a planned course of action. In weddings, having "cold feet" is used as a catch phrase to describe a premonition, state of ambivalence, or uncertainty. i don't really know how the phrase was originated from but maybe this will help....lol idk

Um, someone walked in the snow barefoot??
