In July 2006 an 88-year-old Indian farmer, Virmaram Jat, from a village in Rajasthan, became the father of male twins by a woman forty-five years his junior. However, only one boy survived. Virmaram, a vegetarian, has never smoked cigarettes, drunk alcohol, nor heard of Viagra. He takes long walks every day and has been drinking fresh camel milk since childhood. Keen to share his knowledge with others, Virmaram said that he has intercourse daily and that the best time is between the hours of 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. He also said that he wants to have more children.

In August 2007, Indian farmer Nanu Ram Jogi, from the village of Paanchimli in the Indian state of Rajasthan, fathered his 21st child at the age of 90. Nanu doesn't use drugs for erectile dysfunction and has four wives, who have borne him 12 sons and nine daughters, and he has 20 grandchildren. He says that he wants to continue fathering children until he is 100 years old.

Now, I am not that old and yes my Wife and I make love each day and no I have never needed Viagra either but ... Fatherhood? Again? I don't think so... Oh he is not the oldest Father recorded in modern history either - that one was a 92 year old man who went on to live to be just short of 100. A friend of mine had his third child at age 67 - and he lived to be 100, perhaps there is something in this? He had Grandchildren far older than his Daughter.
