I was on my 6th or seventh trip to the area. I was fortunate to have a job that took me through central Italy often. I stayed at Fortino Napoleonico hotel south of Ancona.

Visiting the local vinyards along the Adriatic, the sunny towns of Ancona, Sirolo, and Jesi.  Montepulciano wine from here is rich full bodied red. But my favorite is another absolutely fantastic red wine very similar to Montepulciano wine called Rosso Conero.
