I have to agree with Holzer: words have their power. there's a lot words CAN'T do, but they indeed have their power.

I agree. I found myself misusing words as I quit writing for years. Now that I am back writing I am relearning the language and choose the correct word for the meaning I desire as I type. I hope to transfer this to speach some day. People will think me nuts when I have to stop every few sentences open my dictionary or thesaurus to make sure that is the exact way I mean it rather than something close. LOL Words can be misinterpreted and hurt someone's feelings. I admit Ep is helping me choose my words more wisely. Good story. I agree.

Well said. An entire good day can be killed by a few casually cruel words; words can also soothe those wounds.

Hi. no doubt about it, the power of words and how they are put together.... what a force! sometimes... folks say things, they don't even know...how much power is in their words.
