I Love Writing Letters

Quaint and Old-fashioned Perhaps, But Invariably Appreciated

When I write people letters I frequently have to explain my quaint and old-fashioned habit if it is the first time they've been on the receiving end, but I usually find my letters are quite appreciated.  I do love to write, and if I want to express something carefully, that matters very much, my preference is to use the written form.  Just a reflection of the depth of my thoughts or feelings on a matter at times.  And writing is a natural tendency of mine.  As the saying goes, writers write.

    don't get it, i am gonna have my 65th attempt at sleeping this year, man what a year of dissapointments or major dramas.



    Can anyone sleep her, all my faceys are on till all hours and I am a non sleeper.

    I use computers an awful lot, including for editing what I write, so I tend to "cheat" in that respect. I use fairly old-fashioned writing paper and envelopes but print the letters in a script form from my PC. They look ok, but they aren't calligraphy.

    I have been teased for my long letters! I do not care. I would rather be like you and express my appreciation and love for them than have them go through life not knowing!

    Hmm you into really nice pens and inks as well? I like them to be nice, pretty.
