'm going to stop taking it. It's just not the same as it used to be. I mean, sometimes it is, but you never know exactly how it's going to affect you. Sometimes I take it and it does what it's supposed to; the anxiety eases it's grip and i just feel like a normal person. And then other times I take it and I just get irritable and depressed as hell. It's just not worth it. And no matter how much I take, it doesn't feel like enough. Xanax plays that trick on you; you just want to eat it like candy. It's better than candy.
Twice yesterday I told my husband something and he said something to the effect of, "Yeah, I know, we just talked about that last week. Remember?" Of course I don't remember; I was on xanax last week. Screw that.
I'm going to return what I've got to the person I got it from and tell them to stop giving it to me. I swear to god I am.

| Posted May 29th, 2008 at 3:06PM I wouldn't say I took it for fun because it wasn't fun. I took it because I felt like I needed it to get through the day. I took it because I do suffer from anxiety and depression, and I wanted to be numb because it hurts to exist. I just happen to be on an upswing right now, probably hypomanic, so life is grand right now and I don't feel like I need it right at this point. I'm sorry you are suffering but you shouldn't make assumptions about me, you know? It's not my fault you don't have access to it. |
