Kundalini Yoga

This week I've been very busy. But two colleagues have been talking about me bringing them to yoga and we arranged wednesday. I rushed and arrived there on time. My colleague arrived late and did the following one. Thank God, 1-because he is very funny and would ruin my focus 2- because I was going to Kundalini class and I think it would suit him better to do hatha yoga.*

It was incredible, we did meditation with mantras and movements, like a lotus flower that would move up and towards you (that reminded a bit kathak, traditional indian dance), some exercising involving visualization (like we were swimming, moving our arms through a storm, to increase the focus and determination.). And plenty of relaxation and exercises that was not strenuos but powerful. The teacher said the classes are very varied from class to class. I found it very poetic how she did exercises depending on the moon stage and also the sun sign (horoscope of the moment), in that case sagitarious); even though you believe in it or not is still incredibly poetic.

Very, very good. I am looking forward to continue going to classes when possible. Ideally I would love to balance those classes with the phisicality of Bikram.

My new teacher already sent me emails with very beautiful information and sent me this link, for who is interested:

(I will certainly will keep an eye with the diet part, as I want to eat better)

All the best!

*(my colleague said he could hear the mantras and singing from upstairs and was 'scared', hahaha.

Namaste!
