Dear Companion,
I am in awe of your strength. To be with me is nothing less than a feat of triumph. I am broken, confused, jealous, depressed, angry, excited, bewildered, suspicious, hopeful, fantastic, happy, and guarded. I only see the the pain in life and all you see is beauty. When I say you mean the world to me I look into your deep brown eyes and I mean it. For me to let someone in is the scariest challenge I have ever had to deal with. My battered emotions and callous appearance cannot always hide the pain of an emotionally abused girl, but when you look at me, or hold me in your arms, I melt away. I don't need to over think about my scars or what is to come in the near future, all that matters is that I am here--with you. I love everything about you. I love the sleepy stuff you have in your eyes when you wake up in the morning. I love how selfless you are. I even love when you argue with me, because at least someone is more stubborn to tell me the truth. I text and text and text and text because I am afraid. You have turned my whole world around and the thought of you leaving scares me to death. I know, not to worry. I'll work on that for both of us. Please know hunny that you have taught me more in minutes than some people have taught me in a lifetime. I love you. I love you. I love you.
