It Was When I Was Young But I Still Remember

When I was in middle school, I found out that I started to like a guy 4 years older than me. I already knew that time that it was impossible for us, but I still loved him. I thought of him night and day, imagining us being together happily. I often open my yearbook at night under the covers, looking at his picture. I never knew whether he did like me or not...but I'm assuming he doesn't. When I see him we say hi to each other but nothing more. Once, I was passing by his grade hallways, he called out to me, "Hey, (my name)!" I turned back while saying hi but he was already gone. I had no idea about what I was doing but my first thought is to tell him I like him. I dashed back to where I thought I heard his voice, looked all around, even asked one of his friends where he went, but I didn't find him. That was the day I told myself that I would tell him I like him the next chance I see him. It was graduation day when I next saw him. I was walking to my mom's car and saw him in the hallways. I hesitated for around 5 seconds. He didn't see me yet. Then, when I was about to call out to him, he went into the classroom. That was my last chance...then he went to college.

Omg... That's got to be one of the saddest stories ever... !!
If it's meant to be, you're gonna see him again, keep hope :)
