Arrrgggh me maties.

September 19 is "Talk like a pirate day". There be translaters online that take your landlubber talk and make it understandable, understand ye chumheads?  Good, I see we have an understandin.

    Ha ha ha this reminds me of how I used to deal with my controlling mother. We had a lot of shouting matches at first she was a little prissy and conservative and controlling. After a while when she would start in on me trying to tell me what to do or how to think instead of shouting I used mockery. One of my favorite routines was this pirate persona I would slip into. Bear in mind that this is a prissy, proper conservative woman, all mannors and tradition raised up in the 30’s and 40’s and she’s yelling at me about some trivial thing, insisting that I do it her way. I shout back “ Avast ye lubber ! Iiiiii Be Cap’n Pig Wind! And I be ready ta blow ye down! With a faaaaaarrrt! She sputtered and swore but knew I would just keep it up so she would say something in disgust and stop tormenting me.
