If You Can Explain...

I'm going to answer as an adult, for once!<br />
Well, The story is rated 1, at the beginning. Then, if someone likes it, he clicks the Rate Up button, and now you have 2 rate ups. and so on and so on. A person can only rate up once.

So you're saying that, 1. If i have a story rated "6", that means six different readers gave it an "up" rating?, and, 2. If my friend has a story rated "41" last week (she did), forty-one different readers each rated her story up once?

1. five(!) people rated it up! the counting begins at one. This is so EPeeps won't feel depressed to see 0 people have rated their story. Therefore, you friend story was rated up by 40(!) people, not 41.
