THE WORLD CAME TO AN END, I WAS STILL LOOKING FOR MY SOUL MATE, RUNNING TRYING TO FIND HIM, BUT I KNEW WHERE HE WAS.

I have found mine, but life has an evil way of way of keeping her from me. It's called Bipolar Disorder. I met the most amazing and wonderful woman last year, and two months into what was shaping up to be a magical and loving relationship, this disorder reared it's ugly head. She withdrew and hasn't been the same since. She did love me, by her own admission, but then "fate" played it's hand and, well, she hasn't been able to tell me again. Though I do believe in fate and that, if it's meant to be, it will be, but all the same, I feel cheated. Unless things changed in her mind (she is on meds, now), I feel destined to have felt what I felt, and that it is supposed to be enough. Is it?

You just know. Somehow you know. I found mine but it has to go both ways, I pray that she will accept me as a soulmate. This is my biggest wish and concern now.

The term "soul mate" is a fair verbal attempt to describe an emotional space saved for a certain someone.

You have a good idea of who that is?

This romanticised idea that there is only ONE person who will satisfy, still has a hung jury. How do you vote?

I suppose that you can look at each other's feet. If they are the same size, it would make it easier to follow in eachother's footsteps, and you would have the same understanding!

When our wants, wishes and cultural
ideas try to paint a picture of the person who is to fill the saved space, it can be a lot like playing a charade.

That special space that is saved in your emotional make-up, may try to place someone there that matches all the input from the charade.

Then one day you discover the one who actually fits your emotional space. He or she can be very little like all the information played out during the charade.

After the forgoing conclusions on my part, I started enjoying my single self without a sense of absence of someone. But fate sent a very special soul mate anyway!

We play footsy as often as possible,

Did I say that in public?
