I'm A Mixed Man As I Like To Put It.

Hello, my name is Glenn, and this is my little story. A story of myself, more to do with information on my heritage. Well I don't know a lot about my heritage. But from the information that I had attained a long time ago; I can say this. I'm a mixed male that being from my paternal side; I am one half Hmong.

Now not a lot of people know what a " Hmong " is exactly. A Hmong person ( pronounced mong, like Mongolian ) is an Asian ethnic group. No one knows where the Hmongs Originated, but it is assumed that they come from Northern China or Mongolia. On my maternal side, I am 1/4 Cherokee. Now I know that sounds, " cheesy ". Because everyone says they have "Cherokee" blood. Even though they don't even have a drop inside of their veins. But I know for a fact that my grandfather came from Texas, and was full blooded Cherokee.

On my maternal grandmothers side, I am , Potawatomi, Cherokee, English, French, Irish, and then finally German. I don't exactly know what the blood quantum, on my grandmothers side is. Because she passed away when I was a young boy R.I.P. Even though I am not part of a nation, I'm still freaking proud of my Indigenous roots. :)

Well that about wraps things up, that's all of my knowledge of my ancestry. I just wish more people would be a little more open minded; when it comes to who you are, and also to mixed people. I am a human, just like you. I'm not any different. after all, we are all the same on the inside.

Cheesy I know but it's true!. Anyway, thank you for reading, and join the Group if you would like. Even if you are not mixed, we don't judge here!. (;
