Good Vs Evil

Good: acts that are kind, just or unselfish
Evil: intentional negative moral acts or thoughts that are cruel, unjust or selfish.

Good / Righteous:
He has no fear of the next world (Heaven)
They hold good behaviour ever dear
They have self-restraint
They have truth for their high refuge
They give but not take
They have compassion
They always ready to exert themselves for the good of others
They observe all the duties laid down in the scriptures
They are devoted to the good of all
They give their all and lay down their very lives for others
They are regarded as good and virtuous
They are perfectly fearless, they are tranquil, they are mild, and they always adhere to the right path
Full of compassion, they are always worshipped by the good
They are free from lust and anger.
They have no pride.
There is not the outward garb of religion for misleading their fellowmen.
They are perfectly contented.
There is no error of judgment arising from covetousness.
They are always devoted to truth and sincerity.
They are never delighted at any acquisition or pained at any loss.
Without attachment to anything, and freed from pride, they are wedded to the quality of goodness, and they cast an equal eye on all.

Evil / Wicked:
Malevolent persons always do wicked acts and feel an irresistible inclination for doing them.
They slander the good and incur obloquy themselves.
A malevolent person brags of his own acts
He is deceitful and full of cunning.
He is arrogant.
He never gives others their dues.
He practices miserliness.
He praises his associates.
He takes delight in injuring others.
He is utterly regardless of distinguishing the merits and faults of others.
He is manipulative.
He regards the person that does him good as a simpleton whom he has cleverly deceived.
He never does what he promises.
He finds fault with the food placed before him
He does not hold his tongue (gossips)
He lives in the flesh (lust, fleshly desires).
He is jealous and controlling of others

Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why do all the faithless live at ease?
Wicked prosper in this world, as it is written that God said: Whoever is a friend of the world is an enemy of mine. The world is satans domain.

- Righteous people are modest, average, surrounded by true friends, have a good eternal soul mate, have no power (but influential), have good intentions, etc.
- Wicked people are rich (materialistic - surrounded by many material items), famous, surrounded by influential people, surrounded by people who lust after them, have power, manipulative, etc.

Evil is live spelled backwards. All the riches are in this world, and none in Heaven. The wicked are bound to their earthly desires.

(A self evaluation I did. I still have to work at being righteous (as outlined above), but at least I know I am not going to hell! I must be good! Whew!)

you could never do enough to be righteous, we are only made righteous but what God's son has done for us....

the work we do for God is only a response to what He has done for us....

Don't worry about being good enough, just be as bbs said, clay in the potters hand....

Thank you for your assurance, bb! Spiritual death scares me more than physical death. I feel like I still have a lot of love to share and good to do; and thank God for every day He gives me to be able to do it.
I want to be as good for God as I possibly can. I am definitely not perfect, but try everyday to get as close as I can. I want to please God because I love Him so much! :-)
