I will say I would erase mistakes made here for sure...as far as mistakes made IRL...well...I would like to think that they have helped me learn and have shaped who I am today...wait......maybe that's not a good thing......

I think both end up shaping us in some way...I have realized of late that things here only have so much weight. I will go one step further...and say we should filter everything ...more than once before we respond here...if we feel insulted or indignant.... Or put upon...

I have tough memories. Awful ones or painful moments...I don't know why...but knowing me...I would pause erasing them. I can't explain that. Maybe the bad moments to me...make the good stand out more???? Hmmmm.

Searching searching searching... Something I remember? DOS command right? I'm assuming from the context it's the one that erases stuff. The bad stuff or the unimportant stuff. Important to erase. It allows room for the good , new stuff. Ahhh DOS command written in a notebook taped to my computer screen at work...I'm 18 again!!

I wasn't really either but I worked at a grocery store. My job (17-19) was to make signs and enter all the prices into the computer. It was at the time when they were switching from typing it into the register to scanning the bar codes. My computer always messed up and I spent so many hours on the phone "fixing" it. The rest of my time was spent checking out groceries, providing excellent customer service and writing out the signs. In the mornings I would weave my sign cart amongst the night stockers. It's amazing I wasn't impregnated by one of them. Good times. Thanks for this post ... Great memories!!!

I was a DOS junky. I eventually came to hate windows, the further removed it got from DOS, the less meaningful my knowledge became!

Oh wait, the backslash did not take. What's the deal with that?

Pshawh! How old school can you two be if you don't know how to escape the backslash? And where the hell is the ">"? Here...
