"will I Float Away..."

"Will I float away like a little lost balloon?"
"Will I get 'lost in my dreams?'
Advice in a post to this group, says 'Look at your hands-they will be different or strange in some way...'.
People who practice also say to try to turn on an electric light/flip a light switch to see if you are dreaming. There are other 'cheap tricks and clever devises', but don't remember-may post later.
Some when experiencing how real lucid dreaming is, I think, get frightened and quit because they feel they will get " stuck " in their dreams! I have never heard of this happening in any way! Chun Tzu, ancient Chinese philosopher once said (and its a famous quote) "I dreamed I was a butterfly and when I awoke, I did not know if I was a man who dreamt I was a butterfly or a butterfly dreaming I was a man!" From writing on him: " How do I know that enjoying life is not a delusion? How do I know that in hating death we are not like people who got lost in early childhood and do not know the way home? " The wisdom answer is that it matters neither way!
But there is a different quality/tone when you are dreaming. If I get confused I either wake up, or the dream becomes a 'regular' dream and I wake in the morning remembering the lucid part, and sometimes the 'regular dream' part.
As far as I know, no one has gotten lost in their lucid dreams! You are more likely to be confused in waking life if you don't do any Dreamwork & don't try to understand your dreams. After all--the DEFINITION of Lucid Dreaming is being CONSCIOUS of when you are dreaming and when you are NOT!
