The Celebrities I Have Met.I met Will Wright, the founder of Maxis, when I was 8 years old. I got to shake his hand and I thanked him for making Simcity, and that I loved it. I later caught up with him on Facebook, and had a total awkward moment when I reminded him I met him at this Computer Expo when I was 8. He actually told me he remembered me. He wouldn't tell me anything about project Hivemind though. I told him I've done some programming too, and I even talked to him about roleplaying games. He was very interested in the statistics involved with pen and paper style roleplaying games.
I met Brian Fargo of Interplay. He signed my Nuclear Holocaust survival booklet. He was a very nice guy, I was around 12 at the time. I told him I wanted to compose music for videogames, and he told me that was a very respectable dream.
I met Nobuo Uematsu this year at a concert in Columbus. I bought really expensive tickets so I could meet him. I told him he was an inspiration and his music was amazing. I bowed, thinking it was appropriate and he just laughed, and extended out his hand so we could shake. He signed my copy of Final Fantasy VI. He told me that it is the joy that his music brings that strives him to do his best everyday.
