I've been online since around 1995 and the days of AOL's popularity. I met a lot of people back then, some of whom are still very good friends of mine. It's not surprising to me that most of my greatest friends I meet from the internet. I think that it allows us to connect to people better than we would just randomly meeting or even hanging around in the same circle... As evidenced by the fact a couple of my online friends and I DID hang out in the same circles of friends and still never met! EP has introduced me to a lot of very important people in my life, and if they've read my stories or comments to them, they know who they are :)

I'm glad that you have met some great people on here, there are a lot of them. It's so hard sometimes when people leave EP, or even just your circle, I have invested a lot of emotion to some people on here, and I've noticed some people are kind of drifting away from me on here, I love them just as much, but since being on here, I've realized that sometimes we just withdraw sometimes when we're feeling overwhelmed. I'm sorry he left your circle. I'm sure you'll meet a lot more great people though.

That's inspirational. I have met some friends on here already and they are great. I hope to make some long lasting friendships on here.

There was one though that I miss who left my circle. I miss him very much but he chose to leave so that is on him.

It's amazing in 10+ years of being online, even though there were times I didn't have the internet, most of my friends in RL I actually met on the internet. I tend to forget that because they've just been around me so long that I forgot where they came from lol And here I've met SO many people that I would love to meet in person that it's amazing.
