I started smoking in my early teens; something I regret a great deal. I recently quit, although I still engage in an occasional smoke. Last year I started struggling with breathing and developed a persistent cough, as well as coughing up small amounts of blood. This has been continuously happening over the past year. I realise lung cancer is uncommon among teenagers; however it is possible. Being a hypochondriac, I always assume the worst. I also have a very poor immune system. I have not yet visited a doctor regarding my symptoms, even though I've had them for a while. I know I probably should, but the idea scares me a little.
