Does Anyone Know About Appeals?

So i got to visit my fiance tonight, and he is waiting to hear back from his lawyer and wants me to get ahold of his lawyer tomorrow to see whats going to take place.. what is the chances of him getting more time.. he is in there for distruction of property and he has been in there before sence he was little for drinking problems. I just hope he dont get more time and screw his self over!!! he gets out right now in 4 months but now he doing this appeal! gosh i hope they take time off.. idk what to think about all this.....
