I Miss My Dad
I could always do things with my dad. I think he like to try to think he was strict, but he was really a pushover. I remember lots of times (because I didn't really have friends) he would go with my to the local pool hall for a few games. Neither one of us was really any good but it was fun. And no matter how awful of a shot I did he would always say "nice shot."
He put up with a lot too. When I was in my teens he had a small two door hatchback car, it was like a 1985 or 1986 scirocco, or maybe a slightly earlier year...but I digress...I used to go into the city to see punk shows and had friends there and I would always tell everyone "yeah sure my dad can give you a ride home" and there would always be this crowd of people climbing into that little car like clowns at a circus.
He was a good guy.
