live very far away from my friends and family. I do have in laws where I live, but I miss my own connections from way back. I don't need to be sitting on their door step, but it would be nice if I could at least drive even 7 hours and be home. Its more like 24 hr drive. Money isn't everything until you dn't have any. I would love to be able to make the money back home that is available out here. Then I would feel more fulfilled. I'm just not an Ontarionite. I can't plug into their mindset out here at all. And its been a year.

It doesn't feel like the same country at at...it doesn't even feel like the same planet sometimes;) What led me out here...when i think about it, it was my thick head... the drive for independnce and adventure :) You? |

Then one weekend in July I was uprooted and planted on the West coast so far from everyone and everything I new. Those five years were so hard, but they taught me a lot about myself. |

But i still, even after 5 years, miss my family and my best friend. We are in contact, and I visit them once a month - but I still have terrible pangs of loneliness here... its so confusing! x |
