Walking the Plank

I was the only interest in her life at the time, yet she still did not completely give me her trust. But I loved her. I had to see her that day but she had work in the afternoon. I offered to pick her up and take her to work, anything just to be able see her for one moment. She agreed. We drove to the beach and there was just enough time to walk the length of the pier. At the end of the pier, we enjoyed a short kiss. And that was all; it was time to go. It was the world's shortest date but I was the happiest person on the whole entire earth.

aaww....a sweet moment in time, guess they are ours to savour!

Sometimes you never get over your first love. A year later I got back with mine. :p

My first love and H.S. sweetheart almost got married, but due to other circumstances we went seperate ways, married other people, had families etc. but as Cinsfolly said above and hit it DIRECTLY on the nose. Life is to short to not say " I love you "..

This is beautiful, on just so many levels.

Space eagle...You never get over your 1st love. You either love them and they are in your heart, or you hate them and they are in your mind.

My first love was my first wife. I missed her even when I was dating the woman who would become my wife of 15 years until she died. I still think of my first love now and then. She did give me the only child I fathered. I don't know at this point if I'd feel anything if I saw her again, but I might. If I did, I think I'd just smile. The first seems to be the best for many years, but eventually you get over that.

you never get over your first love. It is the one that opens your heart. And you always leave a piece of it with that person.
