Hubby Left 2 Weeks Ago and I Miss Him Already

Hi, I'm a 25 y/o mother of a 2 yr. old daughter. My husband was in The Army Reserves for 5 yrs. until he decided to go active after his 1st tour to Iraq in 2005. Now he's on his 2nd tour and I feel worse than last time, except without the pregnancy hormones!!!! I don't know how I'm going to deal with a 15 month deployment!!!!

Hi, I came across your blog, and thought I would pass on some information that would help all Army Dependants while their partners are serving abroad. I was a serving member of The Armed Forces (Royal Welch fusiliers at the time) until 2003. i was injured in 2001, and it took 2 years for my medical discharge to go through. I was married for 15 years too, and my wife accompanied me to all my postings. Until recently, I never knew how difficult it could be for army wives and children...
After my discharge, I found it very difficult to make up the kind of money I was making when I was serving. Due to my disability, I couldn't get any sort of gainful employment anywhere. So I decided that the best bet for me was to work from home. I invested in online courses for Internet business marketing and web design. I now run several successful affiliate websites. I would like to help dependants of serving soldiers to maintain financial security
I thought I'd pass along a little bit of information that could benefit all army dependants while their husbands/wives or partners are serving abroad. I teamed up with this program last year, and have benefited from it greatly. So much so, I am now in a position to donate part of my income to the Army Benevolent fund.
Anyone who has access to the Internet will benefit from this. Especially with Christmas coming up, it can be financially hard on families. Anyway, please take a look at my program and see see for yourself. I offer full support and advice for anyone who wants to sign up. If you could pass this information on to anyone you may think could benefit from it, i would be very grateful. If you have a charity or worthy cause in mind, I would be very happy to donate the funds made by anyone who joins through your recommendation.
ang in there sweetie! I, too, am a military wife. My husband is a COastie and we are in a dual household situation. Know that you are are the inspiration that your husband needs. Keep yourself busy. Pray and send lots of letters and care packages.
Yell if you want to talk!

it is tough i am going through my 1st one and its only beena month and a 1/2 and its crazy anyways best of luck i am here if you ever want to talk.

I am in my third day of out third 12 month deployment. It gets better but never easier. Hang in there

Find the strenght in your daughter. i wish your husband a safe return and that you find the encouragement you need in those around you. my husband is in the navy and ive learned that the long distance relationships never get easier but they certainly bring you closer. good luck

After 25+ yrs of this I say you deal with it ONE DAY AT A TIME. Dont worry about next week next month just each day on its own. Put yourself in his boots and see it through his eyes experience his side and it makes your own so much easier. Pour yourself into your children knowing they are an extension of you and your husband. And take it all one day at the time. Have a blessed day!

My husband was gone for 2years he came home for 13 days and now he is in iraq for another year. I miss him so much,he has been deployed 6 times. If you ever need someone to talk to im here. Stay strong and positive. You can do it!!!!

I know a little of how you feel but I don't know how I would handle my husband being gone that long. He's only gone for 7 months 14 months at the longest. Be strong and your in my prayers. take care. If ya need anyone to talk to I'm here for ya.

I feel you. I'm only going through a first deployment. I know how you feel. If you need someone to talk to just leave me a message. I'm a good listener. I'll be praying for you and your family. God bless. :)

Hang in there.....Hugs!

i cant imagine how you must feel!!! the stress must be unbearable. i hope you have a good support system behind you. i know we cant replace your husband but we're all here to talk anytime... god bless

Good Luck! I wish you and your family all the best.
