Anniversary

July 6th will be the anniversary of my mom's passing in 1996. Even though I am no longer Catholic I had a mass said for her.

Yes....some people grieve on anniversaries..it doesn't bother me for some reason...I never even remembered the date til I looked it up to make sure..I guess I stuff things down? I dunno...but its not like I don't think of the past..all the time...

yeah no matter what you believe still its good to know mom memorial day and its fitting to offer some prayers.You know what everytime im home i never missed visiting my relatives who pass away and offer some prayers not because its the day they have passed away but because im seldom home so its good to visit and talk to them as if they are just around,well people believe in different things but it feel nice to visit and pay respect right.

I was 23. She died suddenly of a heart attack and stroke. I got the call on the other end of the country. It was shortly after I made a road trip cross-country to move in with my bf. I had to fly back to CA for the funeral. Its 16 years now. Might as well be a million years.

u were quite young when she passed had she an illness ? losing my Mom would break me up it must have been hard for u to deal with my respect for you has gone up xxx
