Missing Him.

well ummm where to start?
I think the beginning is a wonderful place.

My boyfriend's name is James and I love him. Everything has happened so very fast for the two of us. sort of. We have known each other for about 5 years but we have been together for almost two months. Our relationship started out super cute because he asked me to be his Valentine. I thought he was kidding because we were only friends. But when the roses came on valentines day I knew it wasn't a joke.

We have been talking a lot on facebook, skype and phone calls every so often. He is one of the only guys that I have been able to see a future with. He is sationed in Florida and I'm stuck here in Washington. I'm thinking that we are unlike most couples because we started this relationship while he was away and we have yet to see each other. I miss him so much and I can't wait until I get to see him again. I have a few questions for you guys: What do you do when you miss your sailor? When do you miss him the most? How often do you get to talk to him?

For me I write him letters in a journal that I hope to send him or give to him when I see him next. I miss him the most at night because we aren't laying next to each other. I get a full conversation with him every few days. But I miss him so muh right now.

My sailor and i met on a christian dating site. So proud to know him and feel that since we haven't met it has given us the chance to really get to know eachother. You all have given me hope. Im meeting him for the first time in a few weeks. Wendy

My boy is in Washington while I'm in Illinois. I've known him for about 7 years now and have been dating him for about 16 months. It's very difficult when you've known him for so long. I miss my sailor all the time as well. And I, too, watch the show Coming Home and sit & cry softly to myself. lol Seeing how others cope with it is sort of theraputic, especially the married couples who have been living the military lifestyle for more than 4 years! It gives me hope and strength that we can do it. Just remember that you're not alone :]

My sailor and I also live in different states. I miss him all the time! But mostly it's when the show Coming Home comes on. I break down and cry and pick up the phone and call him. It's hard for us to talk lately because he is so busy getting ready to head out to sea for 7 months or more. This is his first big deployment and it's coming pretty fast.

thanks. we al will make it. We sadly don't have any pictures together but we will in the future :) I'm in washington state.
