Will I Ever Go Back?

I ran away to Seattle when I was 18, fresh off my high school graduation. I'd been molested and raped for years by my mothers boyfriend, and I'd reached my breaking point. I told my mother about the molestation, and her boyfriend raped me in the woods. That night I packed up some of my things, and walked to the Greyhound station. I chose the bus that was leaving the soonest, and that was Seattle.

I was immediately taken in to a communal living type place, and lived there for 5 years. I worked in a video store, had friends, and loved the feel of Seattle. Seattle never did me wrong. However, I had to move back to Montana to take care of my mother. I always thought when she died I'd go back to Seattle, but instead she gave me the name of my father. Now I'm going to England for a paternity test, and if it's true I may be staying there for a while. Will I ever get back to my Seattle?

I hope you are doing good Dear. I was in Seattle for 6 years, am in Los Angeles for over 2 years now. I miss Seattle and just literally searched for 'I miss Seattle' and this blog post came up. I hope you are doing well where ever you are.

If you haven't already, try 'The Happiness Program' offered by the Art of Living foundation in almost any state, any city and across the globe in 152 countries. They have it in London as well if you are currently there.

Lots of love
