I Wish I Was A Teen In The 70's

I was born in 1970, so all of my memories of, IMO, the greatest decade ever, are through the eyes of a child. Whenever I watch an old movie (I watch tons of 70's cinema) or listen to classic rock (I've been to every KISS concert since 1979), I get a fuzzy feeling in my belly. My only regret is that I was too young to truly enjoy it to the max. It was such an innocent time, before the decadence of the 80's infected us and simultaneously turned us into prudes. Don't even get me started on the crybaby 90's or the desensitized modern, Facebook era.

I literally find myself in tears when I watch movies from this era. It's a shame that kids today will never appreciate the simplicities of cruising or hanging in a park. at the beach or in your bud's basement with your pals. Even television and the movies were far superior to this joke of a life we currently deem acceptable.

Give me the 70's or give me death...
