Missing You All

By the time I was 16 I had lost all 4 grandparents and my great-aunt whom I loved dearly.  My worst year was 6 years ago when both my father and my cat passed away within 6 months of each other.  Some people would say it was horrible to compare a cat to a parent, but I am not married and have no kids and Thunderpurr was my family and had been helping me through my father's death.  I am blessed to still have my mom, who is 85 and lives with me now with her 2 cats, and my brother, sister-in-law, and niece.  But sometimes I miss my grandma who was deaf but always bragged on my beautiful handwriting.  I find myself hoping she would be proud of me.   And I really miss my dad.  Whenever I'm outside at night I look up at the stars and talk to him.  I walked a 5k for heart disease for him.  And when I visited New Orleans I lit a candle for him at the big cathedral on the square.  I miss you, Daddy!  Geez, I'm making myself cry!    I better end this here!
