I Lost My Innocence...

Growing up, I was always so sheltered. Protected from the world with the love of my parents I felt no one could hurt me. That all changed when I got to college. I've been so curious and "out of the loop" my whole life, I wanted to try new things. I guess you can say, reality hit me. I went through heartbreak, backstabbing people, depression, suicide attempts.. and my whole outlook on life changed. I'm so antisocial and closed off now and it would take a million years before I even think of trusting someone again. Everyday I wish I would have just stayed focused and never went astray. I guess you can say curiosity killed this cat.

Cats have 9 lives; you have 8 more to go, so don’t stop living yet. And the only way we truly learn is by trial and error, that’s also the only way we truly grow and develop as a person.

Some people learned through life altering experiences that forced them to mature

Hey prisy2087 I got a notification that someone responded to my comment I made (oh about a year ago lol) so I came to look at it and I don't think it was meant for me, BUT .... I went and checked out your profile and it appears we have something in common, something that can't be over "looked" . If you ever get bored and want to chat feel free to message me. Have a great day! (sorry for the cryptic message, just in one of those moods today lol)

I say that all the time about myself. It was pretty much inbred into my skull as a kid, curiosity killed the cat, so don't be too curious. The truth is, you're not dead yet. You're just waiting for the happy experiences, that you deserve to experience. Not everyone will betray you. Not everyone will hurt you. I hope you figure it out because life is so much more than anyone can describe and if you don't go exploring and test out your curious cat, it will be a shame. I hope you feel better with regards to your suicidal thoughts. Feel free to message me if you want to talk about anything.
