Do you miss me like I miss you?
You left my house without a proper goodbye, without our usual hug. I've had no word from you, and yet everything I do makes me think of you. Work is hard, I see you everywhere. In the office, in the kitchen, in the restaurant. I double take at customers I think look like you. I look up when people mention your name.I check my phone although it's set to vibrate, and I'd know if you had called. I count the hours until I can go home to sleep, until tomorrow when you will return.
