To Meet My Father

I grew up in Montana with just my mom. I never really had a father and she would never ever tell me anything about it. Just before she died she gave me his name. I tracked him down online and contacted him. He lives in England, and he wanted me to come out and meet him for a paternity test. I stayed with him while we waited for the results to come back- and they confirmed he is my father.

I moved in with one of his coworkers, and I've been living here for 5 months. I'm starting to feel more comfortable here, almost more like "home" if I dare say it. My father has talked to me about becoming nationalized. I'm currently on an ancestry visa, so by the time that runs out in about 4 and a half years, I should have decided whether or not I want to stay.
