I Was Forced Out Of My Job.

I had a newly hired manager who was really making my life at my job miserable. He made me and several of the other girls that I worked with cry. The higher up managers didn't do anything about his behavior. He was a pervert. He was a tyrant. And he WANTED me to quit. I had worked there for almost 5 years. Now I have no job and its pretty depressing. I'm back living with my parents and it is pretty terrible to just be here, doing nothing, and not having my own money. Grr.

Wow that sucks! I hope you find something soon. I know how you feel like financially and it sucks to be the only one without a steady income coming in.

I would say have some hope but I don't have much hope myself...

If you live in the states you can get unemployment benefits if you were working in a hostile work environment and that forced you to quit. This would definitely fit that bill.

This too shall pass. And the manager's going to pay for it someday (or maybe he already is?)

You must get back to studying. Pick up something that interests you, and follow it, regardless of all the jerks (and oh boy, there're so many of those!) you meet.

All the best, I'm sure you'll get through this soon :)

go back to school and do something you're interested in?
