I Need a Friend to Talk to Openly
Isn't it sad that we as a human race get too emotional over things that we can't even sit down & try & understand another's point of view on any subject! Be it religious or political? When I engage in a talk that I don't particularly care for, I ask myself maybe there's something I can learn about the subject matter! When I was an adolescent ... I just couldn't allow anyone to get their point across. You would think after a couple of life's lessons, you give others the benefit of the doubt & LISTEN! Since I realized that the world actually didn't revolve around me( sad day!) , I came to realize that no one person will ever know all there is to know ! When I read the comments on EP, I am humbled, shocked & saddened by the inflexibility of some! Are we all so different? Someone once said: To know yourself is to know others! Can we begin the dialogue?
