I Need Financial Help
I'm temporarily in a bad place and need a hand out of it. I am self-employed after being laid off (three times!) from management positions at companies who were bought out. I was doing ok until two clients decided not to pay several thousand dollars worth of invoices. This hurt and started a slde I couldn't stop. I now have bad credit, and I am behind 1 1/2 months with my rent.
I take responsibility for my part in the slide. I was embarassed, but should have pro-actively talked with my creditors or sought a bank loan while I still had credit.
I've begun to shore up the damange. I just got a roomate to help with rent, I just got a new client who is giving me a lot of work AND paying early!
But it's been a tough month - my cat died unexpectedly, my relationship ended (I though we were going to be together forever) and yesterday, my car broke down. The mechanic just called and said it's the engine and the cheapest I can get it fixed is $4500. OUCH.
I need ideas to generate cash. or a loan that I can pay back. or a mechanic in my area who will take payments! or just a friendly "I know what you're going through" note.
