I Need Help Deciding If I Should Break Up With My Stinky Boyfriend

Everyone at his work knows that he's dirty. A few of my guy friends have come up to me and told me that he doesn'y shower, someone even questioned my self-respect by being with him. Every gf he's had has mentionned his non showering.

I've been with him for 10 months now. He showers once or twice a month, at most. He does stink, yes, and yes I have gotten UTIs (at least 4).

He knows he's dirty, he hates showers, he tells me he'd do anything for me, he actually does love me, he asked me to domesticate him, so I demanded that he takes showers.

Well guess what, 2 weeks on, it still didn't happen. So last night, I confront him.

I say

Why do you think it's important to me for you to take showers?

him: so i dont stink?

Yes, so why don't you then? Don't you care if you stink?

him: I don't care about that stuff

Im like okk, but I do!

him: I will endeavour.

Don't you care that you're dirty when we're "together"?

him: I will endeavour.

I don't understand why you don't understand that this is important to me..

him: I will endeavour. Ok change of subject. I just hate talking about showering.

So last night, I realised, there's no way in hell I'll ever be able to change him. He obviously doesn't respect my wish. He respects me all the time, but not that time, and that's what's pushing me away from him.

We have plans to start a life together, but I don't think I can anymore. I think I will have to take a break and tell him,

"I have to think about what I am willing to put up with for the rest of my life."

What do you think?

PLEASE HELP!

Have you tried turning the shower experience into sexy fun? If its a chore, a duty, he will respond as if it is a duty...but there are plenty of fun things to do there...and being clean can be just a bonus. : )
