I Need Help Financially

Tired Of Struggling

I guess this isn't really a story but more of venting. I am employeed make okay money, married 4 kids and I am tired of living pay check to pay check. 2 of my kids are in day care which we pay almost 1300 dollars a month and my wife pretty much works to cover a couple bills and pay for day care. We would be worst off if she did not work. She been looking for a job from late afternoon to later evening to not have to pay for daycre but the pay cut would be terrible and we would be worst off. I know we are like 75 percent of other american's but the stress is killing me. We have to pay the mortgage this month late because we needed propane, all of our bills are behind. I drive home at night wondering what got turned off if anything and when I see the outside light on its a great relief.

    Sounds like quite the struggle. But it sounds like you are doing everything you can to keep above water. Have you tried free software such as powerwallet.com or mint.com? These are free programs that help you track your earnings and payments. They connect straight into your bank accounts, or if you like, you can enter your figures manually. (The latter is just too much work) I have been using it, prefer the mint.com. Even though I am unemployed, working with this little program helps me keep some sort of control over my financial affairs. You and your wife should give it a try. Other than that, take it one day at a time. Enjoy the times with your family and take some time out just for yourself.
