So my 14 year old just moved in with me. She was living with her Dad for the past 2 years. When with my exhusband she was constantly getting into trouble. I disagreed on how he parented. I couldn't imagine my daughter doing anything so horrible to have her freedom, privacy and dignity taken away from her. So I was happy to give her a fresh start in a new environment. I thought all she needed was a second chance. I trusted her with my phone. (Her Dad took her phone and iPod) I had no idea the trouble she was getting into on the phone. I mean she was sitting in the same room with me (most of the time) she wasn't doing drugs or drinking. I thought everything was good. Boy was I wrong! I discovered she was sending nude videos of herself to strangers she met online. She told them she was 17. And even set up a time to go meet them. So I took the phone from her obviously. While I was sleeping she came into my room and stole it to get back on that same site. I don't know what to do! I thought the talk we had really got through to her. I don't want to resort to my exhusbands way of dealing with her. But I also don't want her to think she can get away with this.
