It's Nearly 4:30 Am And I Need To Get To Bed
When I'm engaged in an activity (reading, internet browsing, working on a paper, studying, etc), I don't want to take the time to go to sleep. ... not when there's something better to do. And especially not when I have a deadline and need something finished. Now that I'm taking classes, I'm running into that scenario a lot. So I end up getting maybe 3 or 4 hours of sleep per night, sometimes none. It's wearing on my health. Plus, I'm not terribly alert during the day.
But strangely, even if I haven't slept the night before, when 10 or 11 PM rolls around, I'm wide awake. It can get to 2 AM again before I think of sleeping.
