Phoneless

I currently have a prepaid cell phone that has always worked great for me. I have been with the company for several years now and i've never had any problems with them until recently. A few days ago my smart phone randomly stopped getting signal in my room so I called tech support and had my number switched back to my old phone (regular texting phone). Everything was fine then other than the fact that I felt deprived without my smart phone and all it's fancy apps and things.

About 20 minutes ago, I go to read through the news headlines (I feel more connected to the world that way) and my phone tells me my service has expired! I know for a fact that my service was good until the 12th of NEXT MONTH so why the hell is my phone off?! Since it's almost 3:30am where i'm at right now, there is no way to get a hold of them and fix it so I'm without a phone now.

The thing that upsets me the most about this is the fact that i've NEVER had any trouble with this company until now and there is no reason for all this bullshit to be happening. People are probably going to read through this and think I'm being crazy and irrational but I think i'm allowed to be a little pissed that my phone got shut off when I paid to have service for another 3 weeks!
