It's Up To You.

You want someone to talk to.

But you don't wanna bother anyone.

Because you feel like you're getting in the way, when they're not interested in your problems.

You wait for people to talk to you, so you can respond with "well, not too good", and follow the path that they'll hopefully show they don't mind listening.

But actively seeking that company out, makes you seem whiny or "emo".

What can you do?

Say no one strikes the conversation, you'll have to pick someone.

Or who do you talk to?

What if you haven't got any best, best friends? All you see is a bunch of names, some closer to than others, but there's no true vibe from the people avaliable at the time.

You just want someone to talk to.

Even if it's just to talk about anything, just for the company.

Their company?

Deep down, your heart is telling you that you want the company of certain, particular people.

What's the worst that can happen?

If that doesn't work. Perhaps talk to someone you've recently seen. For example, saying you hadn't seen someone for ages, and you bumped into them earlier than day, a good chance to rebuild a lost friendship.

Or have you got some emotional baggage on you, because you wanted to say something to someone before, but never did? Like say, you made a mistake to someone, and never apologised for it. They'll be happy that you opted for their company.
