Lack Of Family

Although I do have family, they are all over the place. I often feel that they don't care about me. Living in this place then that city and so on. What the hell. It's already hard trying to deal with other relationship issues. Lack of contact between family members is not good. Even though we can't choose our family members, we can at least build some kind of communication method/understanding and respect the differences. We don't have to have constant contact, but good heavens, at least make an effort to keep in touch.

Where have humans gone with their evolution/development? We live in articifial rock dwellings (cities) and never even speak to the people who live behind the next concrete wall.

Laughing at the ridiculousness of the situation is the best way I've found to deal with this kind of thing.

I was an only child.

Both my parents are long gone, as are their siblings.

I have a few cousins - with who I tried to communicate, as our parents died, one by one.......

However, for reasons only they know, none of thoise cousins have responded to my attempts.

At fifty-three, I'm largely housebound by a degeneratice spinal disorder and can go weeks at a stretch without ever talking to anyone beyond my husband and son.

I get lonely and depressed.

I never wanted siblings, was never lonely as a child, but now, I wish there was SOMEONE with who I could share the memories of those relatives now passed on and the times we shared......
