I Really Need A Pen Friend

Straight to the point..

I've had to deal with a truckload of problems - unemployment, financial troubles, among others. I've got absolutely nobody to talk to in my life. I've no close friends, no colleagues, i hardly see my housemates and my family doesn't understand me. Don't get me wrong, i mean my parents do love me and care about me but they are of no help whatsoever. I somehow have the will to keep things going and not feel depressed. Healthy food habits and physical fitness have helped a lot. But i still feel empty and disconnected from the world.

What i want is a good pen friend, one whom i can share and exchange life experiences with. There's a lot of things that can be put down in writing. We can write to each other regularly, keep updated on the happenings. If anyone feels the same way, well i believe this website is a good place to start.

Lets talk. I don't get much time inbetween college but i can relate to pretty much everything you just said, so yeh. Have at it. What would you like to talk about? :P inbox me

I literally just typed into the google bar, "I don't have anyone to talk to". and this site came up, so i figured, what the hell.

And this post was the first thing I saw. And I don't have any advice or ideas of ways to make it better. But if you're anything like me, hopefully you can find some sort of solace or comfort in the fact that there are people who are well-educated, decent people that are alone, always broke, and just in need of someone to take time out of their day to give a **** about yours.

Obviously i'm like 2 months too late, but whatchya gonna do. Who knows, maybe by now, everything has gotten better for you. :)

I'm so very sorry to hear you going through such a difficult time right now. In many ways I know exactly how you feel. You see, I've lost everything - twice. The remarkable thing is that - despite the impossible odds against me - I've been able to regain everything I've lost and then some.

How in the world was I able to do such a thing? I can tell you it's not because I'm Superman, hehehe :) In the end, I came back from the abyss because I had help.

The first person to help me was, well, me. You see, throughout my ordeal I discovered that I'm a whole lot stronger, tougher, resilient, wiser and capable than I ever dreamt possible. Truth be told, there really was no way for me to know until I found myself in need of them.

I'm almost certain you're the same. How can I be so sure? Because, in the end, we're all the same. While it may not feel like it right now, we ALL have the capacity for greatness inside of us. We can all do the impossible. It's how we were designed :)

The next person to help me was my Creator. Now, I don't know if you're a spiritual person or not but I can tell you that your Creator is keenly aware of what's happening to you and is ready to give you the strength, guidance and wisdom you need to get through this rough patch.

So, how do you get him to help you? It's simple really. Just ask :) Draw close to him and ask him to help you. “Jehovah is near to all those calling upon him, to all those who call upon him in trueness. The desire of those fearing him he will perform, and their cry for help he will hear”, the Bible tells us. (Psalm 145:18, 19)

Learning about Jehovah God is a vital step in drawing closer to him. It is a process that should never stop. If you were outside on a very cold night, for example, warming yourself by a fire, would you let the flames dwindle and then die out? No. You would keep adding fuel to keep the fire burning bright and hot. Your very life might be at stake! As wood fuels a fire, so “the very knowledge of God” keeps you close to God.—Proverbs 2:1-5.

Now, where should you go to learn about Jehovah God? As you've noticed, I've referred you to various passages from the Bible. The truth is, our Creator has given us the Bible as an instruction manual for us to follow. Everything you need to know about him is there at your fingertips. All you need to do is read it and follow its instructions.

As with any comprehensive instruction manual, you'll read from it a little at a time at first and you'll come across parts that are a bit difficult to understand. When that happens you call tech support and ask them to help you out, right? Well - in case you haven't picked up on it yet - I'd be more than happy to be your "tech support". I've read the Bible in its entirety several times over and have been using it's instructions for the last 30 years or so to successfully resolve every single problem I've ever come across.

I know things look bleak right now but don't lose hope. You're braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and wiser than you know. Most important of all, you're not alone. Even though it may not seem like it right now, your Creator loves you very much and is ready, willing and able to give you everything you need to live a happy and fulfilled life, no matter what comes your way.

All the best! :)

you can me your freind if you want i would love to share with you

Thank you. Really appreciate it

I totally understand. Kind of in the same spot myself as far as having no one to talk to, but my own fault I guess. Never have been any good at communicating my feelings. No matter how bad I want to talk the words just wont come out of my mouth. But I'm a dang good listener so if you ever need to talk or vent just drop me an email. Good luck with everything and take care.

Thank you so much. I will leave you a message sometime. And I'm a great listener myself, feel free to leave a message on my whiteboard.

You can add me to your list if you want

Thank you. Yes I have

You can always add me as a friend if you want to. Take Care & have a very nice day.

Thank you so much. And you too.
