Not silly - not at all! We all feel lonely sometimes, I think that's just part of life. Just know that you have people in your life that love you deeply, regardless of whether or not you're currently in connection with them. When I get lonely (it happens frequently - the joys of a long distance relationship) I try to just really acknowledge it. Then, I either have the choice to embrace my own miserable feelings and do something on my own to brighten my mood, like workout or watch a funny movie or go for a walk, or I can decide to pick up the phone and reach out to someone. Either way, we're all alone...or all together, depending on how you want to look at it ;)

It's hard to feel surrounded yet empty inside, I share your pain. I don't understand it either but I just pit one foot in front of the other and know tomorrow is a new day, a chance that it will turn around for me. I try not to get bogged down with it, easy to do, by doing the few things that does give me joy. Social media gives us all opportunities we didn't have before to reach out for love and understanding from people we don't know and who won't judge us like our friends or family would. Compassionate people do still exist in this crazy world we live in. Hug yourself, yeah, sounds crazy but I do every night because I know I was put where I am in this life because God has a plan for me. My time hasn't come yet to find out what it is but there is a reason. Being broken down gives strength a chance to take hold in ways we didn't have before, it refines who we are. I hope that in some way that my simple words will bring you peace. If I could hug you I would, so consider this a hug. Hand in there sugar, the sun will rise tomorrow, the birds will sing and life goes on. Don't linger on sadness and strive for a challenge to bring you joy.

    hello lonelymum87
if you need to talk, this is the best place for it. there are many EP users who will be willing to listen/chat ~ including myself.
It sounds to me that you may have subconscious feelings or thoughts that may need letting out......
