    Im the same way, I always have to have something going on in my mind to keep me entertained :P No matter what it is. On the computer, Im an *information junkie* and I skip from one thing to the next w/o realizing. Always gotta have music on, otherwise I have a song stuck in my head... Im wondering if Im slightly ADD?

      I've been having a hard time focusing on just one thing at a time. I think the video about how the internet is supposedly changing our brains is probably accurate.

      I don't think our humanity's really at stake, I just think that focusing on one thing at a time can potentially be more gratifying than constant distractions.

      Yeah, I think thats a little extreme. But I can deffinitley see how the internet (distractions) causes issues with concentration and learning. It makes complete sense. Makes me want to rethink my computer habits...

    I suspect it is less an addiction to doing than it is a need for distraction from total peace. Watching your mind work is a form of meditation and incredibly difficult for most people to do, and so I wonder if you are getting to the point where you really want to shed the unnecessary... which is almost everything.
