But When?

I've been needing to escape for at least a few years, now. But when and how am I supposed to do this? Usually it's "no money" and when it's not that, then it's "no time" I can't win for losing. Oh Oh! The story of my life!

Anyway, I'd love to escape to a remote beach or wooded area by a lake. Just away from all of the hustle and bustle of city life, work and "grind". I guess I have to work on making time and getting the money.

Hi, I was going to say nearly the same thing that splitpersonality said.

I find relaxing music, and sounds of water, wind and bird sounds to play on my CD. I look at calanders with great scenes and sit quietly in my little office with these scenes and music. While I sit, I talk with the Celestial Goddesses of Buddhism:

The Green Tara of Prosperity is sought and I believe in receiving all that I need and in giving to others what they need, as much as possible.

The Multi-Faceted Jewel works through multitasking to fight with me to that I stay balance.

The White Tara of Compassionate Tears has Seven Eyes. She promised to gather energy to relive our pain and suffering.

The Radiant Tara, Goddess of Light that has the Third Eye, is bathed in a rainbow. She is full of light and wisdom through Mind and Heart. Her power is used to give reasurrance and dispel fear.

I take time to become mindful of energy that is filled with these qualities. I get in touch with this power within and outside myself. Moments in contemplation give me rest, peace and freedom.

I do not need a garden island to find these. These qualities are as close as my mindfulness.

Hope you can try it sometime.
Good Point. Thank You for heading it my way.

Escaping doesn't have to be about money. Yesterday it rained here and my son taught me how to dance in it. He's only 3 and together we danced and twirlled and "escaped" life for just a bit. There are ways you just have to stop looking. Dance a little!
