Borderline Underweight

I'm a 19-year-old male, approximately 5'7" and 126 lbs, which is about on the border of underweight. It's not too extreme and I'm in excellent health for the most part, but several of my bones stick out, my rear end gets sore if I sit on something hard for too long, and I get cold fairly easily (and I live in a cold climate to boot). I'm wondering if I should gain some weight, just a few pounds for the winter maybe, but I'm a bit scared that I wouldn't be able to lose it again or that I couldn't stop gaining. Any thoughts?

I think everyone is different...unless you're easily fatigued or weak then it sounds like you're healthy and fine. If you want to gain then set a goal and add those extra calories to your diet everyday. It helps to drink shakes etc something fast to gain those extra calories. Either way you can do anything you set your mind to do, just believe and follow steps towards your goals...you can do it!
