Holiday Food

Hi everyone! Yesterday I flew from Los Angeles to Atlanta and had no time to write a post... so here is an extra long one, ha!

With the holidays coming up, I want to remind everyone how important it is so not let one day come between you and weight loss. With all the delicious food, indulge a little. Eat the foods you want, don't stress about it and enjoy. The key is to get right back into the weight loss mindset come the following day. Think of it this way... if you cheat on your diet one time (even if it's a big time) you're body will not be effected too greatly. If you cheat on your diet here and there, a little of this, a little of that, throughout the day... well, you're not really on a diet anymore. Those times of a "little" cheating turn into what your body expects and is used to.

Also, if the thought of eating poorly one day (while celebrating with loved ones and having a great time!) is what is allowing you to say "I'll start my diet after the holidays" then you probably aren't as devoted as you think. So let's go! If you are ready to get in the best shape of our life, what better day to start (or reaffirm your commitment) than today?!

More importantly, a great snack idea...
Sprinkle apples with cinnamon & bake until tender. Tastes like apple pie, but has 1/5 the calories!
