he towels in the gym locker room are discriminatory. For weeks after I joined my super-swank downtown Chicago gym I thought I was missing something, that I was always grabbing the wrong towels. But no, the towels in the gym simply will not do anything but barely cover me as I make the walk from the lockers to the showers. And the reality is, I’m not all that big around. Well, maybe I’m still missing something ... nope, a woman just walked up behind me as I am blow-drying my hair and that towel is just a bit too short for her. She’s not that big either, just tall with a few extra pounds.
This returns me to my conclusion. The towels in the gym locker room are discriminatory.
I have decided that the first thing I buy when I have dropped my ten pounds and crunched my abs into submission is not going to be skinny jeans or a dress. I am going to buy some nice bras for wearing while blow-drying my hair in the women’s locker room.
