Rememer The Days?

We broke up a couple of years ago, but I swear sometimes it feels like yesterday when we were watching mid-summer sunsets by the bridge. I remember the way we used to hold each other when we fell asleep after long days spent together, and how you'd look deeply into my eyes and tell me I was beautiful. We used to talk about our future together, dream with the stars, and laugh at inside jokes as we cuddled by the night's darkness by my window. I still remember how shy you got when you told me you loved me for the first time. I remember how much I adored being in your arms and giving you soft kisses.

Sometimes I find myself missing you. Missing the relationship we had. We were together for a couple of years, but that last summer especially stands out in my head as being memorable. I've dated other guys since you and for a while, I stopped thinking about you. Maybe it's the silence right now. The summer stretching before me - I'm single again - and missing the good times we shared a couple of years ago. I wonder if you ever think of me. If you ever miss me and the times we had together too.
